Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 2025

This page describes how Promp.it uses cookies and similar technologies. In short: no profiling cookies, no advertising tracking.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files saved by your browser on your device when you visit a website. They store preferences or collect information about your browsing session.

2. Technical cookies (necessary)

Promp may set strictly necessary technical cookies for the site to function, such as:

  • Theme preference (light/dark) — stored in localStorage, not sent to any server.
  • Language preference — handled via URL (/it/ or /en/), no cookie involved.

These do not require consent under applicable EU cookie regulations.

3. Cookieless analytics

For traffic analysis Promp uses a privacy-friendly tool that operates without cookies and without collecting personal data. No cookie is stored on your device for this purpose. Data collected is exclusively aggregate: visit counts, pages viewed, country of origin, browser type.

As no cookies are used and users are not tracked individually, no cookie consent banner is required for this functionality.

4. Third-party cookies

Promp does not embed social widgets, YouTube/Vimeo videos, or advertising systems that set third-party cookies.

Affiliate links to compared providers (Binance, Crypto.com, etc.) redirect you to the provider's site, which may set its own cookies. We encourage you to read each provider's cookie policy before proceeding.

5. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies from your browser settings. Quick links for major browsers:

Disabling technical cookies may affect some site features (e.g. saved theme preference).
