AnomaCard

AnomaCard (operatore non divulgato) · Visa / Mastercard

2.0/5 3.2/5 · Data verified on

AnomaCard is a no-KYC crypto debit card: you sign up by signing with a Web3 wallet (MetaMask or Phantom) and fund the card by depositing BTC, ETH or SOL to a generated address. The virtual Visa/Mastercard activates after one on-chain confirmation (minimum $15 deposit) and is spendable anywhere, including via Apple Pay and Google Pay; an optional physical card is available for $120. Pricing is a tiered lifetime deposit fee, from 0.60% down to 0.30% based on accumulated volume, with no monthly fee and no transaction fees. Stated limits are $5,000/day and $20,000/month. Crucially, there is no public corporate information behind AnomaCard, and the service is not connected to the official Anoma project (anoma.net/AnomaPay): it merely reuses the name.

Plans & pricing

Strengths

  • No KYC: sign-up via wallet signature
  • Among the highest limits in the no-KYC segment ($5k/day, $20k/month)
  • No monthly fee and no transaction fees
  • Instant virtual card + Apple/Google Pay
  • No KYC: usable without identity verification.

Weaknesses

  • Anonymous issuer: no company, HQ or team disclosed
  • No audit, proof-of-reserves or deposit guarantee
  • No-KYC model carries regulatory risk (MiCA/AML, Visa/Mastercard rules)
  • Only BTC/ETH/SOL; no cashback
  • Reuses the 'Anoma' name but is not the official Anoma/AnomaPay project
  • Custodial: the platform holds your funds and can freeze or lose them.
  • Subject to regulation (Non conforme / non dichiarato): reporting to authorities and freezes on order.

Verdict

D B ★ 2.0/5 ★ 3.2/5 Estimated net annual cost: €0/year

On the consumer-protection side the verdict is harsh: an anonymous issuer, no audit or proof-of-reserves, no deposit guarantee, and a no-KYC model at odds with MiCA and Visa/Mastercard scheme rules. Treat it with extreme caution and don't park meaningful funds on it.

Through the sovereignty lens, no-KYC and wallet login maximize privacy, but depositing to a generated address is custodial in practice and the issuer's opacity erodes most of the benefit: you hand control to an unknown party.
