Uniswap Wallet
Uniswap Labs
Uniswap Wallet is the official wallet from Uniswap Labs, available as an iOS and Android app and as a browser extension. It is self-custody: keys stay with the user and not even Uniswap Labs can access the funds. It is built to swap tokens directly on the best-known decentralised exchange, with swaps across 20+ EVM networks (Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, Unichain and more) plus Solana, built-in MEV protection and real-time warnings on risky tokens. No name, email or phone is required to set it up. The code is publicly viewable and has been audited by Trail of Bits. Notable change: with the on-chain execution of the "UNIfication" proposal in late December 2025, Uniswap Labs set all interface fees on apps and API to zero; as of the verification date (August 2026) swapping from the app therefore carries no Uniswap app-fee, leaving only network (gas) and protocol/LP fees.

Strengths
- Self-custody with no KYC or email; official multichain wallet (20+ EVM networks + Solana) with MEV protection; since December 2025 no interface app-fee on swaps; viewable code and Trail of Bits audit.
- Self-custody: funds stay in your wallet — the platform cannot touch them.
- No KYC: usable without identity verification.
Weaknesses
- Ecosystem tied to Uniswap (swap-oriented, not a neutral all-purpose wallet); no native Bitcoin support; network and protocol/LP fees still apply on swaps.
- No notable sovereignty drawback documented.
Verdict
Score 4.2/5, very strong profile. In its favour: self-custody with no KYC or email; official multichain wallet (20+ EVM networks + Solana) with MEV protection; since December 2025 no interface app-fee on swaps; viewable code and Trail of Bits audit. The trade-off to weigh: ecosystem tied to Uniswap (swap-oriented, not a neutral all-purpose wallet); no native Bitcoin support; network and protocol/LP fees still apply on swaps.
On the Sovereignty lens the score is 4.1/5 (very strong): the strength is fund control (5.0/5), while trustless / auditability (2.5/5) is the weak link.

FAQ
Does Uniswap Wallet charge a swap fee?
After the "UNIfication" proposal was executed in late December 2025, Uniswap Labs set all interface fees on apps and API to zero. As of verification (August 2026) swapping from the app therefore carries no Uniswap app-fee: you only pay the network (gas) fee and any protocol and liquidity-provider (LP) fees that belong to the decentralised exchange itself.
Is Uniswap Wallet custodial?
No. It is a self-custody wallet: private keys stay on your device and not even Uniswap Labs can access your funds. Setup requires no name, email or phone number.
Which networks does Uniswap Wallet support?
It supports 20+ networks, mostly EVM (including Ethereum, Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, Unichain) plus Solana. It does not handle Bitcoin natively.
